里斯本的Gare do Oriente采用耐克森的局域网管理8路铁路线路以及地铁和路面轨道交通。一种包含216根光纤的全绝缘电缆正用于伦敦的地下交通中。而在高密度的地铁网咯中,运用耐克森的低成本压缩微型光纤也越来越普遍。
